All trains are diesel-powered except where otherwise noted.

We reserve the right to alter published schedules and substitute equipment and motive power without notice and as operating conditions demand. For a list of planned steam dates, please visit the steam page.

Events marked with (R) require reservations. Ticketing for all other trains is first come first serve.

May

	National Train Day Railroad equipment will be on static display - May 11 only. Trains do not operate.
	Three Bridges Excursions (R) Extended length passenger excursions over our entire line between Ringoes and Three Bridges. Reservations required. Buy tickets today!
	Summer Excursions Our traditional excursions between Flemington and Ringoes. (May 27 ONLY)

June / July / August

	Summer Excursions Our traditional excursions between Flemington and Ringoes.
	Three Bridges Excursions (R) Extended length passenger excursions over our entire line between Ringoes and Three Bridges. Reservations required.
	Readin' Railroad Story Time (R) Enjoy a round-trip excursion between Flemington and Ringoes, and the Conductor will narrate a popular children's book. Kids can follow along with their own complimentary copy of the book! Reservations required.
	Caboose Hops (R) Ride a train including several cabooses all the way from Ringoes to Three Bridges and back. Reservations required. Every Saturday in July.

September / October

	Summer Excursions Our traditional excursions between Flemington and Ringoes. (September 2 ONLY)
	Photo Freight (R) Unique photo opportunities with vintage freight equipment along our line between Ringoes, Flemington, and Three Bridges. Reservations required.
	The Great Train Robbery (R) Help the Sheriff protect the train from the dreaded Covered Bridge Gang! September 21 only. Reservations required.
	Corn Maze & Pumpkin Picking Trains Visit our gigantic corn maze and pick your pumpkins at Pumpkin Junction. Come ride the train, explore the maze, pick pumpkins, and much more!
	The Eerie Limited (R) Calling all history buffs and ghost chasers! Come join us for an evening excursion from Flemington to Ringoes and return. On the way, learn the stories of local train wrecks and railroad hauntings. Reservations required.
	Trick or Treat Train (R) October 26. Departs Flemington Station at 7:00 PM. Reservations required. More information coming soon.

November / December

North Pole Express (R) An exciting journey to the North Pole to meet Santa & Mrs Claus. Select dates in November and December. Reservations required.

• Groups

  Plan to visit with a group of 20 or more? Contact us ahead of time! You may be able to take advantage of group rates or reserve your own private car on the train. Visit the Groups page for more information.

  

• Reservations

  Tickets for most of our trains are first-come first-serve at the station. For trains that require reservations, you must purchase your tickets through this website. Select a train on the right for full details! Questions about your reservation, order confirmation, etc? Contact reservations@flemingtontrain.org for assistance.
  

• Safety First!

  Please follow these important safety rules when visiting Ringoes. Our Ringoes yard is a working freight and passenger railroad facility, used by our passengers AND several industrial freight customers. For your safety, barriers such as chains/ropes/road cones/"Keep Out" signs are posted in areas off-limits to the public. Unless accompanied by a member of our staff, remain ONLY in the public parking lot and station area.

  • Never walk on railroad tracks.
  • Never climb on railroad equipment.
  • Always stop and look both ways before crossing tracks.
  • Always feel free to ask our staff about equipment in the rail yard - we're usually pleased to offer you a guided tour!

• About Your Visit

  Here is some information about your visit that we commonly receive questions about!

  • Restrooms

    Restrooms are not available on any trains or at Flemington Station. Restrooms are available at Ringoes Station. During our Corn Maze event Port-a-Johns are available at Pumpkin Junction.

  • Strollers

    Strollers are welcome on all trains, but must be folded to come on board.

  • Wheelchairs

    Due to the historical nature of our equipment, trains are not handicap accessible. All passengers must climb 3-4 stairs.

  • Smoking

    Smoking is PROHIBITED on ALL BR&W passenger trains, inside stations, and all areas at Pumpkin Junction.

  • Refreshments

    Refreshments are not generally available on trains or at Flemington Station. Light snacks and drinks may be purchased at Ringoes Station (cash/credit) and Pumpkin Junction (cash only). Passengers are welcome to bring their own food and drink (no alchohol) on the train.

  • Parking

    Free parking is available at Ringoes and Flemington Stations. Visit the Directions page for details.
